Artist Statement:

My work portrays the efforts of individuals straddling the boundaries between psychosis and the clarity which emerges after. These experiences, simultaneously spiritual and mundane, depict the individual as they move through the every day. The art is meant to reflect the jolt experienced by this confrontation between the fever-dream realities of one's inner mind and the objective realities of the physical world.

Artist Bio:
Sara Zilhaver is an artist working and living in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Sara received her BFA from the Cooper Union in 2012. While there, she also attended Yale Norfolk School of Art and Music.
